Bookkeeping Services

Collett & Co provides straight forward bookkeeping for small businesses.

We are not Accountants, but we can deal with VAT returns and Payroll. We can get everything ready for your Income Tax returns for your Accountant to complete and submit – saving you hours of his/her time and your hard earned money!

Payroll has been done for a pub, a consultant’s staff, staff of an inventory business and others.

VAT customers include a farmer, a pub and a soft furnishings fabric printer. All clients in very different businesses, but facing the same issues – they want to get on with their work, not admin!

Appointments and Calendar Management

Apps and mobiles are great for working on the go – but also annoying and frustrating! Much more professional for your PA to make appointments for you taking into account your location and other commitments. No double bookings and driving miles in the opposite direction from your next commitment! Your PA can get as much background information as possible regarding the appointment and may be able to process some of the preliminary details.

Sourcing Venues for Events, Conferences and Meetings

Unless you always use the same venue, finding the right venue in a convenient location, at the right price, with the right facilities can be very time consuming. Setting up these events is even more so and every detail needs to be considered. That is why you need a Virtual PA for these occasions. Even down to preparing the badges!

Property PAs

Rental Properties

Collett & Co provide full inventory services for rental property. Inventories, check ins, mid term visits and check outs. Reports are generated using the nationally used software created by miServices. Detailed, accurate reports with embedded photos provided at reasonable cost and quick turnaround. Reports sent out same day or next morning latest. Reports are paperless saving time and money. The inventory is sent electronically to the tenant, they acknowledge receipt and have 7 days to return with any comments. Check outs compare the state of the property at the end of the tenancy to the inventory at the beginning. Any material differences are reported and can be used to negotiate deductions from the deposit or if really necessary, evidence in Court.

Holiday Lets

Collett & Co can manage your bookings for you (4 years experience of bookings for 4 apartments). If located within 10 miles of Marlborough or Devizes we can act as keyholder and project manager for any refurbishment works – holiday lets or second homes. Let us know how we can help.
